Intelligence: Digitas and Charm Group Top R3 Worldwide’s May 2019 New Business Report for the Top Creative and Media Agencies in APAC

R3 Worldwide has revealed the top 10 creative and media agencies in the Asia Pacific region that has won the largest accounts from May 2018 to 2019. The report measures the value of each account for an agency, and offers an insight to how the business stands in comparison to others in the local and regional industry.

Creative Agencies

For this May report, creative agencies have been garnering a large amount of business value from brands in China leading with Digitas for Huawei China on the top spot. FCB won 3 accounts in the country: Alula infant milk powder Lactalis, Flixonase (OTS) GSK and Weltmeister.

Publicis and Leo Burnett also made the top 10 with accounts for DS and Nestle, and Yili-Amrbosial, respectively, in China.

Other notable agencies that have scored big are VMLY&R for Samsung (Mongolia), FCB for AB Indev (Middle East) and R/GA for MSD Japan (Japan).

Media Agencies

Among media agencies, Charm Group won big with Volkswagen Group in China, earning them the top spot in the rankings, followed by Universal McCann for its YILI account in China.

The May report reveals Universal McCann being awarded with the most number of big accounts this year for its clients YILI, Kmart, Coca-Cola and Just Eat.

Other notable media agencies that have made the top 10 are OMD for Suncorp (Australia), Super Retail Group (Australia) and Asahi Beverages (Australia); Mindshare for Volvo Dealers (China); and Ikon for Lindt (Australia).
