SINGAPORE – Isobar today announced the promotion of Rohan Lightfoot to Regional Managing Director of Isobar Asia Pacific, effective May 2017.

In his new role, Lightfoot will be responsible for developing regional clients, further developing Singapore’s position as one of eight Isobar hubs globally, and growing the agency footprint in Southeast Asia. He will relocate from Shanghai to Singapore and will report to Jane Lin-Baden, Isobar APAC CEO.

Lightfoot will continue in his current role as Global Client Partner for Coca-Cola at Isobar. Since taking up this role in November 2016, Lightfoot has significantly grown Isobar’s relationship with the global drinks brand, helping Dentsu Aegis Network win Coca-Cola’s integrated media planning and buying business, spanning 13 brands in China, at the start of 2017.

Jane Lin-Baden, Isobar APAC CEO, said: “Rohan’s energy, abundant creativity, and his natural ability to manage complex client problems, will make him a great asset for our teams and clients in APAC. He has been instrumental in driving impressive growth for Isobar Shanghai – during his leadership the office has grown by 70%, winning new portfolio clients including Unilever and Huawei. I’m confident that he will capably drive digital transformation for our clients across Asia Pacific.”

Rohan Lightfoot, Isobar APAC Managing Director, said: “It’s an amazingly exciting time to be moving into this new role. Brands and businesses need agency partners that can help them win in the digital economy and that means thinking about how technology can accelerate their business and inform their advertising, operational processes, and service offerings. I’m looking forward to working with the incredible capability that Isobar has across the region to expand opportunities for our clients.”

Lightfoot joined Isobar in March 2012 as APAC Integrated Business Director. He was promoted to Managing Director of Isobar Shanghai in March 2014 and under his leadership, the Shanghai office won international recognition for creativity and effectiveness from the MMA, Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards (now Tangrams), Festival of Media, Mumbrella Awards, Campaign and many others.

Lightfoot has over 20 years of advertising and media experience in the United Kingdom, United States and China, in strategic planning and client leadership roles. He takes over from Sven Huberts, who will become Director of Strategic Growth for Isobar across EMEA in May.
