BANGKOK – J. Walter Thompson Bangkok has tapped João Braga, an award-winning creative with global experience, for the role of Chief Creative Officer.
Braga, who hails from Brazil, joins JWT Bangkok from Ogilvy Singapore, where he served as the Global CD on Pond’s and other regional accounts. Prior to that role, he spent over 3 years in Portugal as Creative Director, and later Executive Creative Director at Publicis.
Before joining Publicis Lisbon, Braga worked in Brazil for 12 years at Lew’Lara\TBWA and JWT São Paulo.
He has developed work for clients like Coca-Cola, Renault, VISA, Nokia, HSBC, Kraft Foods, Nissan, Nestlé and Microsoft and has been recognized at various national and international awards, including Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Although a writer by trade, Braga has a passion for street photography and holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications from Bournemouth University.
