SHANGHAI – J. Walter Thompson Shanghai office has won Oishi’s brand communications account, and will be responsible for its new product launch campaign. The agency is to develop and deploy services from brand communication strategy to integrated creative advertising.

With 25 years of experience in China’s food industry, parent company LIWAYWAY is recognized as one of China’s best-known companies. It owns more than 100 different types of snack foods; their newest launch ‘Kraken’ (Oishi Wavy Potato Chips) brings consumers a brand new snack experience.

The partnership will see the agency develop communication and creative strategies, helping to increase brand awareness of new product line ‘Kraken’ and to maximize sales performance.
