People: EON Group appoints new Business Unit Heads

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — EON The Stakeholder Relations Group (EON Group), one of the largest independent, Filipino-owned, and award-winning integrated communications firms in the Philippines, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new Business Unit Heads (BU Heads). The BU Heads provide leadership in carrying out EON’s mission of delivering data-inspired and human-centered solutions that build, strengthen, and grow the reputation of its clients to ultimately earn trust among their stakeholders.

EON’s Chief Executive, Junie del Mundo, announced the promotions of Denise Ching and Joanarc Sales as joint Business Unit heads of EON PR, Pam Enriquez as Business Unit head of Tangerine (EON’s experiential marketing arm), and Erielle Pineda as Business Unit head of DiG (EON’s digital arm).

“I have seen how Denise, Joanarc, Pam, and Erielle have grown in solidifying their teams, most especially in transitioning the business and its services during the pandemic. I am looking forward to seeing them lead a team of passionate individuals and continue to take on the challenge each unit has to offer whether it be public relations, events management, or digital strategy,” says Junie del Mundo.

Denise Ching, PR BU Head – Corporate

Denise will lead EON PR’s corporate communications practice, leveraging on her more than 12 years experience in the public relations, marketing communications and advertising field. 

She first joined EON in 2013 and later rejoined the company as Account Director in 2018. She led the Corporate PR accounts team in planning and implementing strategic communications campaigns for local and multinational brands across various industries including banking and finance, consumer and enterprise technology, telco, energy and utilities, transport and logistics, automotive, real estate, and consumer goods.

 

Joanarc Sales, PR BU Head – Brand

Joanarc assumes the role of BU Head – Brand, and will have oversight of EON PR’s brand communications portfolio of clients. With over 9 years of media and PR experience, she has built relationships with key media personalities across lifestyle, tech, and entertainment, and has also established a strong database of key influencers. Joanarc joined EON in 2014 as Senior Account Manager. She takes leadership over the company’s portfolio of brand communications accounts.

 

 

 

Pam Enriquez, Tangerine BU Head

Leading Tangerine, EON’s experiential marketing arm that handles on ground and virtual events and conferences, is Pam Enriquez. She has been with the EON Group since 2012, growing with the company as it expanded its expertise to include Tangerine as a business unit and as part of the pioneer team for international expansion in Dubai, UAE.

Pam brings international expertise in managing virtual, hybrid, and in-person events for integrated marketing communications campaigns, having managed the ASEAN Philippine Chairmanship events and the Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors to name a few. She oversees overall project management, day-to-day client communications and ensures timely and accurate project delivery. 

Erielle Pineda, DiG BU Head

EON’s digital arm, DiG, is now led by Erielle Pineda who has 11 years of experience doing digital strategy, media and analytics work for various verticals such as telecommunications, FMCG, entertainment, technology, automotive and B2B brands across Asia. He currently oversees projects for both EON in Manila and EON Dubai. 

Prior to joining EON, he led the Insights and Analytics team of another PR agency.  He has also been based in Cambodia and Myanmar and worked offshore for a Singaporean boutique agency handling digital strategy, digital media buying and performance analytics.
