Manila FAME, the Philippines’ premier lifestyle and design event – has again aimed another notch to promote and recognize the high quality home, fashion, holiday, architectural, and interior pieces of the Philippine regime in this years KATHA Awards.
The People’s Choice Award went to Quick Stitch Embroidery/FUNNEST with their work “Kalabaw Rocker”.
Special Citation for Eco-Design goes to Red Slab Pottery, designed by Tes Pasola with their work “Pipes”.
Best Product for Lamps and Lightings goes to Hacienda Crafts’ “Ikat Lamp”.
The Best Booth Design and Best Product for Furniture goes to Tadeco Home Decor and Designed by Nelson Sepulveda “Bench Bark”.
Best Product for Fashion won by Zacarias 1925 under S.C Vizcarra “Casa Portable”.
The “Pinoy Tree of Life” by Touch of Craft Inc. won the Best Product for Festive and Seasonal Decor.
Best Product for Home Decor was won by Native Crafts and Arts and designed by Tes Pasola for their work “Flower Box”
Pauline Suaco-Juan concluded, “With plenty of talents across the country, the KATHA Awards gives distinction to fresh, original, and innovative designs that embolden the spirit of Filipino creativity.”
