PHILIPPINES, MARCH 30, 2011 – The Creative Guild of the Philippines & Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Kidlat Festival has released the list of judges for the Kidlat Awards. The festival, themed "Sexy Again!" takes place on May 1 to 4, 2011 at the Boracay Regency on the Philippines’ most famous beaches, Boracay Island.
Flying in to judge the competition are Leo Burnett & Arc Worldwide Singapore Group ECD Chris Chiu, Ogilvy Singapore Creative Director Eric Yeo and Creative Juice Worldwide (Thailand) Chairman Thirasak Tanapatanakul. Nine prominent Filipino creatives are among this year’s jury: graphic designer AJ Dimarucot, Y&R ECD Badong Abesamis, Publicis JimenezBasic ECD Don Sevilla, DM9 JaymeSyfu ECD Eugene Demata, Lowe Philippines ECD Leigh Reyes, Campaigns & Grey CCO Ompong Remigio, Seven A.D. ECD Teeny Gonzales, BBDO Guerrero/ Proximity ECD Tin Sanchez and Ace Saatchi & Saatchi VP for Integration Tonypet Sarmiento.
Guillermo Luz, Ayala Foundation EVP, joins the jury for the Diwa Awards final screening.
Aside from the awards, the seminar program is the other highlight of the festival.
