Kit Ong leaves Y&R Vietnam to join The Purpose Group as partner

HO CHI MINH CITY – Kit Ong joins one of Vietnam’s leading homegrown independent agencies, The Purpose Group, as a partner. Ong will spearhead the creative renaissance at the multi-disciplined advertising group for clients such as Samsung, Pepsi and Vinasoy.

Ong’s career spans over 25 years. He has held creative leadership positions in agencies across Malaysia, China and Vietnam handling a client portfolio that includes Samsung, LG, Toyota, HSBC, Procter & Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, Coca-Cola, Vitaminwater, Fonterra, Guinness, Carlsberg, Lee Jeans and The North Face.

Ong has consistently produced award-winning work in a diversity of categories in every country he’s been in. In his five years in Vietnam, Ong has won metals at international and regional award shows.
