INDONESIA — Havas Adwork, a leading integrated marketing communications agency, has announced the appointment of Matt Wiggers as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In his new role, Matt will report to Levent Guenes, Chief Operating Officer of Havas Worldwide Southeast Asia.

“Of all multinational agencies, Havas is creating groundbreaking work in the way how they approach creativity with a business sense. Having the ability to adjust locally and not stick to a standard doctrine of operating, Havas is perfectly equipped for the swiftly growing Indonesian market. The global and regional management allows local freedom but at the same time inspires to develop into new areas. That makes it an exciting and energetic agency to be in right now, and I am happy to be part of the team that will reach a new level of leadership in our industry,” said Matt.

Matt was most recently at Publicis Indonesia, having overseen considerable agency growth after overhauling the management team and moving the office. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, starting out on client side and moved to agency side when he founded his own marketing and communications agency, PSI – Problems Solved Inc. in 2002.

“Matt’s achievements with his great team over at Publicis Indonesia and PSI – Black Pencil make him the ideal choice to lead the agency. We are confident that under his strong leadership, the Jakarta team will provide quality work as well as services to their Indonesian clients and be brought up to greater heights.” said Levent Guenes.

Apart from that, he is also a partner at Larive International, where his wealth of experience has helped many clients gain entry as well as expand in Indonesia. His expertise as a Business Strategist allowed him to go beyond the planning and conceptualising stages, as he also provided ample support to his clients during the implementation phase.
