FRANCE – Mullen Lowe Group launches a campaign that would make collecting Lions more meaningful: #CanYourLions.
The group pledges to donate the value of the Lions their agencies win to help feed the victims of the earthquake in Nepal.
According to the campaign’s website, it only costs 50 cents to feed one person in Nepal for a day. So, one Grand Prix award that costs $2,906 is equivalent to 5,812 days of food while a Gold, Silver or Bronze Lion that is worth $1,280 amounts to 2,560 days of food.
As of Tuesday, Mullen Lowe Group already picked up 11 Lions, that is $14,080 worth of donations so far! For this, we fervently pray that they win more in the coming awards ceremony.
Mullen Lowe encourages other industry peers to can their lions by using the hashtag #canyourlions or by visiting the website canyourlions.com.
