PHILIPPINES, APRIL 4, 2011 – Nestle Philippines has officially launched a thematic campaign celebrating the company’s 100 years in the country. The campaign, created by Publicis Manila, bears the line “Kasambuhay Habambuhay” (companion for life).
The 90-second TVC follows a couple life together from childhood to maturity. A teaser, “Pag-ibig”, featured songbird Regine Velasquez’s interpretation of the Danny Javier song. The theme, with male vocals, serves as the soundtrack of the 90s TVC.
The omnibus is aired in tandem with the new Bear Brand commercial with Vilma Santos-Recto, among others, which also hinges on heritage as the milk brand is one of the company’s first products in the Philippines, dating back to 1911.
The campaign includes print ads and special promo packs for its top products. Ten short films directed by nine TV commercial directors and commissioned by Nestle Philippines specifically for the centennial will be launched in June.
