SINGAPORE – Ogilvy & Mather Singapore has been appointed as the e-Commerce agency for Desaru Coast, an integrated destination resort developed by a subsidiary of Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels (TAR&H) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia. The assignment was won following a competitive pitch.
Desaru Coast is the first integrated premium destination resort in Malaysia and offers a unique blend of experiences and boasts international hotel brands including The Westin Desaru Coast Resort and Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. Ogilvy will oversee the development of an integrated e-Commerce platform that will strengthen Desaru Coast’s positioning as one of Malaysia’s most anticipated tourism developments.

The platform, which will be launched in phases, will serve to enhance the customer experience with personalized recommendations and bespoke services for discerning travelers. Ogilvy’s partnership with experience management software leader Sitecore will result in the delivery of a seamless and intuitive digital experience with the support of omni-channel and social media touch-points to help travelers research, plan and manage their trip more easily.
