NEW YORK CITY – New York Festivals International Advertising Awards® competition announced the 2017 award-winners at the New York Show℠ gala held at on May 18th at the renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
The winners from the Philippines included some familiar names from the recent awards circuit, particularly a pair of campaigns by TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno. ‘Correcting History’ for the Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacanang (CARMMA) won second place in Public Service Announcements/Communications for Promotion of Peace and Human Rights. It also earned third place in Public Service Announcements/Communication in Civic and Social Education. Meanwhile, ‘Dirty Watercolor’ for the ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. won third prize in Design for Posters.
