LONDON — Michael Moszynski, CEO of LONDON Advertising, has unequivocally accused Nicola Sturgeon of being like every other politician by lying when she says she wants to “lock Cameron out of Downing St.”

Speaking this week on Bloomberg TV and the Drum’s Election Beat, Moszynski highlighted the inherent dichotomy in what Sturgeon is saying: “either it is out of ego or out of malevolence to the Labour Party, because if she wanted to have a non-Tory government in power, she would not be saying the things that she is saying”.

So, the question Sturgeon needs to be asked, Moszynski believes, is “why do you say you want a non-Conservative Government when you are playing into the Tories’ hands?” which is reinforced by the reporter comments she made to the French Ambassador about her preference for “David Cameron to remain” in Downing St.

In one of the most competitive and unpredictable elections of modern times, many expect no party to gain a majority. This is a belief that the LONDON Advertising CEO does not share; instead suggesting that Sturgeon’s postulating will “drive UKIP’ers into voting Conservative” and consequently deliver a majority for the Tories. Only time will tell.

The management team at LONDON previously managed the 2005 Conservative Party General Election campaign, when they were Partners at M&C Saatchi. Their campaign “Are you thinking what we’re thinking” was declared the best political advertising since “Labour isn’t working” by David Yelland and “the best advertising of the election” by the Daily Mirror.

LONDON is working with the Conservative prospective London Mayor candidate, Ivan Massow and will be launching a campaign for this ‘not politics as usual’ candidate after the general election.
