Twenty-year media veteran, Malu Vasallo is appointed Mediaedge:cia managing director. As new Mediaedge:cia (MEC) Philippines head, Vasallo’s task is business and product development.

Previously from OMD Philippines also as Managing Director, Vasallo’s client service leadership and integrated marketing experience were honed with clients that include VISA, Watsons, Johnson & Johnson, Jollibee Foods, BPI/Ayala and Warner Bros, to name a few. Vasallo was Vice President of Universal McCann for 7 years.
As managing director, she reports directly to Stephen Li, CEO South & SE Asia and Australasia.
Of the appointment, Li states on the same site, "Malu’s skills in agency and business management along with seasoned client service expertise will be crucial in her new role. She brings a proven track-record in integrated strategic planning across international clients that will enhance our overall offer both locally and regionally."
