Noise GIF Fest 2019 is Asia’s largest celebration of animated Gifs. Amateurs to professionals, are invited to submit their original ‘Magic’ themed Gifs, for an opportunity to be showcased alongside some of the best local and international image makers at the festival’s exhibition.
The free multi-media exhibition that will run from 28 March to 1 April 2019 will showcase the newly commissioned Gifs in a variety of ways, from huge LEDs, to projections and site-specific installations. For the first time this year, vertical screens will highlight this emerging content format.
The organizers have partnered with Clear Channel Singapore to showcase some of the best vertical Gifs at bus shelters across the island. The campaign will run for 2 weeks from 14 to 27 March, all day across 10
locations.
Steve Lawler, Creative Director The Unusual Network; “The vertical video has been causing controversy for traditionalists since its invention, but artists, creatives and filmmakers have always been the first to embrace new things. This year’s Noise Gif Fest has included the vertical format as part of its showcase. Thanks to sponsorship from the brilliant people at Clear Channel (Singapore) we will be able to connect this new breed of creatives to a massive new audience. Singapore’s about to be bombarded with GIFS on the streets!”
All creatives working in media companies and agencies are welcome to create Gifs or stories, brief can be downloaded from www.giffest.com, deadline for submission is 10 March.
