Norman Tan leaves Lowe China for JWT

CHINA – Norman Tan has left his post as vice chairman and chief creative officer of Lowe China to take up a creative leadership role at JWT. The news was confirmed by Lowe China chairman and CEO Kitty Lun. 

Lun commented, “Norman and I have been partners in leading Lowe China for some years now. Together we have built a great agency that we are proud of. He is both a friend and a colleague and while we are sad to see him go, we also wish him all the best in his new role. Norman has had a great impact on the quality of our creative product and our agency culture. He leaves behind a Creative Department that is one of the finest in China.  I will announce his successor in due course”.

Jose Miguel Sokoloff, President of Lowe and Partners Creative Council added, “Norman is talented on many levels. He pioneered truly skillful storytelling in the Chinese industry and his work for clients like Buick and Alipay is of the highest calibre. I will miss him and his contribution to our Creative Council, where his influence has extended well beyond China. I wish him great success in this new chapter of his life.”
