On its third day, the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity revealed the winners for the Design category. From Norway, Anti Bergen won the Grand Prix for its Bergen International Festival Brand Campaign.

Japan, on the other hand, got a total of 17 metals – the most number of awards received by a country in this category. Dentsu Nagoya’s ‘Mother Book’ for Kishokai Medical won two Gold Lions while Hakuhodo Tokyo’s Sunshine Aquiarium ‘Penguin Navi’ and MR_Design Tokyo’s TAMA Art University ‘Tamabi’ got one Gold Lion each.
A total of eight Gold Lions, 21 Silver Lions, and 34 Bronze Lions were given out during the awards ceremony on June 18.
In Asia, 29 metals were given to winners from eight countries including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand – with seven Golds, eight Silvers and 14 Bronzes.
