Ogilvy & Mather tops Greater China Agency of the Year awards

CHINA – Ogilvy & Mather was named Creative Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year for Greater China, while Mindshare took the Media Agency award as Campaign Asia-Pacific revealed the regional winners at  the 2014 Agency of the Year awards. 

The agency’s Taiwan office was also named Taiwan Agency of the Year, while its Hong Kong office was named Hong Kong Digital Agency of the Year.

Adding to Ogilvy & Mather’s tally of wins was the Hong Kong office’s Greg Carton, Sarah Edwards, Anna Mugglestone, and Natalie Lyall, who were named the region’s Corporate Communications Team of the Year.

At the same time, Weber Shandwick China bagged a gold in the PR Agency category, FUSE China won a gold in the Specialist Agency category, and arkr GROUP China grabbed gold in the Independent Agency category.

Meanwhile, Mindshare’s Amrita Randhawa was named the region’s Agency Head of the Year, Y&R China’s Nils Andersson was named Creative of the Year, and FUSE China’s Calvin Fu was named Accounts Person of the Year.

Zenith Optimedia bagged two individual awards as well, with the agency’s Sam Holt being named Young Achiever of the Year, and Tracy Zhang winning Planner of the Year. Saatchi & Saatchi Greater China’s Yuki Qi was also a winner, being named Talent Management Person of the Year.

Meanwhile, DDB Group Shanghai’s Richard Tan, Jit Hoong Ng, Twelve Tong, Jason Wu, Tim Cheng, Raymond Man, and Roger Zhu were named the New Business Development Team of the Year.
