SINGAPORE – Ogilvy Public Relations Singapore’s Head of Business Emily Poon takes on a new a bigger role within the agency after the Singapore office announces her promotion to Deputy Managing Director.
According to a press release by Ogilvy, Poon’s new position will require her to “help strengthen Ogilvy PR’s strategic and creative consulting capabilities, and will also focus on new business, talent development, and building greater connectivity across the Ogilvy & Mather Group in Singapore.”
Poon will still be reporting to Ee Rong Chong, Managing Director, Ogilvy PR Singapore.

She brings with her more than 12 years of experience in public relations, brand and corporate communications and event management. She joined Ogilvy PR in 2008 and has also served as Director apart from Head of Business. Included in her portfolio are government campaigns, consumer and corporate businesses ranging from FMCG, technology, telecommunications to hospitality and luxury for clients including InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Casio, Singtel, Unilever, American Express, Tiger Beer and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
