HONG KONG – Ogilvy Public Relations will be content partner at the world’s largest conference on PR effectiveness and measurement. Hosted in Bangkok in May 2017, the event aims to help educate PR and communications professionals.
The company will play a major role at the Global Summit on Measurement, organized by AMEC – the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communications. The organizers encourage communications professionals across Asia Pacific to attend.
Marion McDonald, Chief Strategy Officer, Asia Pacific Region for Ogilvy Public Relations, said: “Creativity and effectiveness are central to Ogilvy’s mission to make brands matter. Like AMEC, we share the same obsession to lead the industry in measurement and effectiveness best practice, so this is a natural partnership to extend knowledge among marketers worldwide”.
The Summit will include the awards ceremony for the annual AMEC International Awards and will start with a Welcome Drinks reception on Tuesday 16th May followed by two days of senior client presentations and workshops on Wednesday 17th May and Thursday 18th May.
Barry Leggetter, CEO of AMEC, said that he is delighted to have Ogilvy Public Relations, as the largest PR firm in Asia Pacific, play such a key role in the Summit.
He said: “We anticipate a big audience at next year’s Summit. However, the experience of Ogilvy PR will help spread key interviews with speakers to a wider audience through Asia Pacific.”
Leggetter said the two-day program will feature senior-level international speakers from major organizations as well as interactive workshops.
The Summit Headline Sponsor is Isentia, headquartered in Sydney.
