ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, MARCH 2011 – Chris Martell, iris Nation Worldwide Limited’s Board Director for Singapore and China has been appointed managing director at OgilvyAction Singapore. Martell replaces Jessica Davey who moves to London at the end of the month to take over new responsibilities at OgilvyAction in the UK. Martell will assume his managing director responsibilities with OgilvyAction Singapore in April. Prior to iris Nation, Chris held senior roles at Tequila Singapore, Focal Point Marketing Group and The Yellow Submarine.
During his three-year stint at iris Nation, he set up iris China, with Sony Ericsson as the founding client.
Commenting on the appointment, OgilvyAction Asia Pacific regional president John Goodman said: “Chris’ depth of knowledge, insight and experience in managing a high performing team of retail specialists makes him the perfect candidate for running OgilvyAction in Singapore.
