OMD Hong Kong wins ‘Media Agency of the Year’ at the Yahoo Big Idea Chair Awards

HONG KONG – OMD Hong Kong has been crowned the “Media Agency of the Year” at the Yahoo Big Idea Chair Awards 2017, held last week in Hong Kong. The also picked up two accolades for work done on long-standing client, Wyeth, as well as a merit award for FedEx.

In its ninth year, the Yahoo Big Idea Chair Awards is a unique, proprietary awards platform, recognizing outstanding work in the online creative community. Giving praise to creativity, innovation, imagination and the elusive “big idea”, the platform honours the most extraordinary creative minds in Asia’s online community by bestowing 17 awards in Hong Kong and 7 in North Asia for campaigns on the Yahoo network.

Earlier in the year, the agency was named ‘Hong Kong’s Most Valuable Company’ by Mediazone’s Hong Kong’s Most Valuable Companies (HKMVC), an annual awards event dedicated to recording the achievements of path finding people and companies in Hong Kong. The agency was also named ‘Best Marketing Partner’ at HKMA TVB’s Awards for Marketing Excellence in October.
