SINGAPORE – OMD Singapore’s clients have once again been recognised as the top marketers in the market, this time at the Singapore Media Awards 2018. Among the nine accolades that recognised work performed by the agency or its talent, four were for client campaigns deemed to be best-in-class, resulting in three out of the four Brand Awards bestowed on OMD clients. This marks the second consecutive year that the agency’s clients have bagged the majority of the awards’ most prestigious titles, recognising the business results born out of their partnership.

The agency’s team on The Learning Lab account was recognised for the ‘Best Use of Search’, while the Income team was awarded ‘Best Use of Video’ and ‘Best Use of Content’, with their collaborations earning Income the titles of ‘Best Local Brand’ and ‘Most Dynamic Local Brand’.

The McDonald’s team at OMD Singapore also won ‘Best Integrated Media Campaign’, with McDonald’s being named ‘Best International Brand’. The win comes after the agency’s work for McDonald’s was highlighted on a global stage earlier this year, with its ‘Capacity Based McDelivery’ campaign being recognised as the world’s top-ranking campaign by the 2018 Gunn Media 100.

The agency’s talent, who drive these impressive business results for its clients, were also highlighted as the very best in the field. OMD Singapore’s strategy manager, Harpreet Kaur, was named ‘Best Communications Strategist’, while Performance Manager, Prashant Vedpathak, was awarded ‘Best SEM Practitioner’. Four additional staff from the agency were also finalists for the awards’ NextGen Challenge.

Speaking on the wins, OMD Singapore’s Managing Director, Chloe Neo, said: “Words can’t express how proud I am of our collective and individual successes at this year’s Singapore Media Awards. We kicked off the night with an award for The Learning Lab and ended it with our work for Income and McDonald’s being recognised for the second year running. These accolades reflect the work produced out of our exceptionally strong partnerships with our clients and the impact our campaigns have had on their business and growth.  More importantly, we saw our people and teams being celebrated and recognised as the very best in the field by their peers within the industry. A massive congratulations to all of our OMDers and our clients on these sweet victories. We look forward to continue raising the bar even further.”
