BANGKOK – Omnicom Media Group Thailand has appointed Ms Suphanee Dechaburananon as Senior Consultant, effective May 2014. In this senior leadership role, Khun Suphanee’s focus will be on strengthening the trading and investment function of the network, across clients from OMD, PHD and M2M.
Khun Suphanee joins Omnicom Media Group from GroupM Thailand, where she held the position of Chairwoman. A respected industry influencer within Thailand, Khun Suphanee has been part of the local media and marketing industry for more than 30 years in key roles. Khun Suphanee has a few firsts to her credit which has taken the industry forward in Thailand. These include leading Thailand’s first CabSaT media measurement initiative together with the cable association, and establishing Thailand’s first out-of-home media club. Khun Suphanee has also been an Independent Director of Nation Broadcasting Corporation Public Company Limited since April 25, 2012.

Omnicom Media Group Thailand has made a couple of senior appointments recently to match the growth of the network especially in the area of digital services. Rochelle Chhaya, the former Head of Marketing Strategy South Asia at HTC, joined the agency end of last year as Head of Digital while Sunee Paripunna was appointed the CEO of Omnicom Media Group, Thailand. Having successfully led Intel’s digital offering in the past, Rochelle is value-adding to Omnicom Media Group’s digital strategy, while Sunee Paripunna’s overall leadership and vision is steering the network to higher levels of achievement in Thailand.
