People: Bray Leino Splash bolsters management team with four new hires across Asia

SINGAPORE — Bray Leino Splash (formerly Splash Interactive Group) today announced four senior-level appointments to the management team in their Singapore, Malaysia, China and Vietnam offices.

The creative and technology-led digital marketing agency has welcomed the new hires, who bring a wealth of combined industry experience from leading marketing agencies across Asia. Lee Kuok Ming, Group CEO at Bray Leino Splash says, “We are forward-looking, and we are investing in these key hires to further strengthen the senior management team. Our new slate of talents will enable Bray Leino Splash to become a digital experience agency that effectively uses data, creativity and technology to power our clients’ customer experiences.”

Joining the Bray Leino Splash (BLS) team in the Singapore office as Managing Director is Joshua Lee, formerly the Connected Experience Practice Lead at Digitas. Joshua brings extensive experience helping clients modernize their marketing programs using technology and data-driven creativity. He says, “As marketing becomes much more focused on a connected customer experience, clients need agencies who truly understand how to merge technology with creativity and data. What inspires me about BLS is that these skills are already embedded as a core principle within the agency.”

Efrain Lopez, previously the Head of Innovation at Maven Road, has taken on the role of Client Services Director in the BLS Malaysia office with immediate effect. He will be bringing to the agency his experience in managing integrated ad campaigns, while further expanding its capabilities in blending data with creativity. “I’m excited BLS is keen to apply a creative approach to client servicing and business development,” says Efrain. “When you finally understand that being creative is mostly finding new ways to solve problems, suddenly the world becomes your oyster.”

Joshua and Efrain join two other senior-level appointments made in the past 18 months. In the Vietnam office, Charles (Cam) Lindquist, previously the CTO/ Business Operations Director (Ford) from VMLY&R Asia, has been appointed as Group Chief Technology Officer & General Manager. Cam is based out of the group’s Technology Centre of Excellence in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He brings his experience in technical consultancy, software/ product development and DevOps to BLS to help clients drive the end-to-end digital transformation of their business processes. “The industry has some interesting times ahead. Highly talented staff will continue to be the critical success factor for every agency, and partnerships with vendors have become as important as partnerships with clients,” says Charles.

In the China office, Jimmy Yeung, previously the Head of Technology from Labbrand has taken on the role of Technical Director. He brings to BLS his experience in identifying and implementing the right technology solutions to help effect digital transformation.

“As digital marketing matures, I am looking forward to helping our clients build integrated solutions via our technology stack,” says Jimmy.Bray Leino Splash was recently appointed by NTUC Income to undertake UX, creative and technical implementation on their digital platforms. More recently, they were handpicked for the design and development of the BW LPG website on the SiteFinity platform.
