MANILA, PHILIPPINES – OMG Advertising is proud to announce that its President, Marivic Garcia, is one among a select group of distinguished women who were chosen to receive the 2019 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award™ (Global FWN100™), in the Innovator and Thought Leader Category.
This prestigious award pays homage to women who have broken new ground by creating and utilizing trailblazing applications that use emerging technology, to transform the way people think and act. It also recognizes those who have launched a new enterprise, enhanced a learning function or overhauled an existing development or community initiative.
These women are instruments of change – developing products and services in the fields of science, technology, engineering arts or mathematics and have improved the lives of others.
Marivic has successfully created and established value-adding services which use technology-driven innovations to provide out-of-home advertising solutions. Foremost of these is the clever development of Geogen, an out-of-home (OOH) advertising locations planning tool and the Ad Tracker, an online monitoring dashboard – both of which helped acquire and retain customers in a fiercely competitive industry, improved the bottom line and has made the workflow faster and more efficiently.
Marivic is also a fierce proponent of women empowerment. She has mentored and encouraged women in and outside the company and has infused them with the confidence they need to stand head to head with successful leaders in the advertising industry both here and abroad.
Furthermore, she has consistently given her staff frequent opportunities to travel the world and broaden their horizons in order to imbibe global standards and apply them back home.
