SINGAPORE – Quantcast, which owns and operates the world’s largest audience insights and measurement platform on the open internet, is pushing growth in Asia with the appointment of Rueben Vijaratnam as Regional Head, Malaysia.
Based in Singapore, Vijaratnam will lead business growth across key agency groups and clients across Malaysia, and will report to Chris Scudder, Quantcast’s Commercial Director of Southeast Asia and Greater China.
With more than ten years of industry experience, Vijaratnam has built a reputation as a strategic industry leader, and has held several senior digital consultancy roles across Southeast Asia, while working across the pillars of programmatic, display, search, native, and content marketing.
Chris Scudder commented, “As we continue to expand our offering across Southeast Asia and work towards our mission of radically simplifying advertising on the open internet, we must build our local strategy rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
“Rueben joining the team made perfect sense. He understands the market, the opportunities and challenges that agencies and brands face, and will be instrumental in building out our local strategy and executing this across the Malaysian region. With Rueben’s calibre, coupled with Quantcast’s increasing product offering, we are looking forward to fulfilling our potential in this region.”
Acknowledging the strength of the strength of the brand, Vijaratnam expressed his excitement to partner with clients and expand Quantcast’s footprint across Southeast Asia. “Malaysia’s adoption of programmatic advertising is rapidly increasing and the opportunity is evident. As one of the world’s top adtech companies that’s uniquely placed to help brands grow, being able to continue my career in a leadership position like this for Quantcast is a great honour. I look forward to building and scaling the business to even greater heights over the next few years and beyond.”
This follows a series of senior appointments at Quantcast in Asia Pacific, including the recent announcement of the appointment of Richard Knott as Business Development Director for Quantcast APAC.
