SYDNEY / MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – R/GA Australia has announced the appointment of Kieran Antill to the role of executive creative director. He will lead the agency’s multidisciplinary teams across Sydney and Melbourne.
Kieran’s background spans a number of leadership roles: leading creative teams at Leo Burnett New York and JWT Melbourne as Managing Partner & ECD and Executive Creative Director respectively. He also held the role of Creative Director of Tennis Australia for the 2019 Australian Open. Kieran is also co-founder of several companies, two of which he continues to be involved with as board advisor: Ne-Lo, a Customer Experience (CX) and Employee Experience (EX) specialist company, and Timebirds™, a fitness-tech company.
“Over his career, Kieran has demonstrated an amazing ability to apply a breadth of creative thinking to communications, products & services and consultancy,” said Michael Titshall, VP & managing director, R/GA Australia. “His appointment is reflective of our ambition to help clients extract greater results by applying creativity more holistically to their business,” he added.
Seamus Higgins, VP chief creative officer, R/GA Asia Pacific added, “Kieran combines a rare mix of skills, with a real passion for collaboration and driving work that challenges conventions. We’re incredibly excited to have him join us in our mission to expand the edge of possibility for our people, our clients, and our industry.”
On joining the team, Kieran shared, “It’s a given that R/GA is one of the most innovative companies in the world, but what made me join was their values. They are optimistic about the future, passionate about having a positive impact and focused on family and what that means for the next generation – all that really resonated with me. I’m excited to get started.”
Kieran has previously been ranked as the #1 Art Director worldwide at the Cannes Lions Festival and #3 in the World on the Gunn report – later acknowledged by the Australian government publication ‘Australia Unlimited’ as one of Australia’s top creative exports.
