As part of her role, Stephenson will lead Shootsta’s global marketing efforts in Singapore, China, Australia, the UK and US.

Stephenson brings over a decade of global marketing experience to the role. “Upon taking the role, I was immediately surprised by the scale of the company. Shootsta is a truly global business, it works with hundreds of blue-chip clients across five major regions — a true startup success story,” Stephenson said.

“Each region, however, has its own nuances. Digital communication has never been more crucial, and despite the times, each market is still leveraging these tools differently. My challenge will be pinpointing these drivers and using this to further grow Shoosta’s reach.”

Commenting on Stephenson’s new role, Founder and CEO of Shootsta Mike Pritchett said: “Lauren’s appointment comes at a key time for Shootsta. Covid-19 has thrust a spotlight on the importance of meaningful digital communication. It’s something we specialise in at Shootsta, and have a number of initiatives in the pipeline aimed at giving back as much of that expertise as possible.”

“Lauren’s taken on a massive job at a key time for the business, and we look forward to supporting her as she looks to build out our global strategy and takes our business to the next level.”

Launched in 2014, Shootsta provides companies with a custom-built camera kit, training and resources to shoot their own content, and a professional editing solution geared toward seamless 24-hour creation of corporate video.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Shootsta has expanded its offering, now helping companies produce podcasts, animations and digital events. Within the past few weeks, the company has also launched a new online learning hub and pre-produced webinar series, providing free training on how to capture quality video.

Shootsta operates out of five global offices located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, the US and the UK.
