Publicis Conseil appoints new creative direction team

PARIS – Valérie Henaff, CEO of Publicis Conseil, has appointed a new creative direction team to the agency.

The new creative direction team will be made up of four creative, revered for their talent and chosen for their complementarity: Cédric Guéret, Marcelo Vergara, Fabrice Delacourt and Olivier Desmettre. 

This multicultural team brings a mix of international and local cultures, as well as brand and digital expertise, best practices and strong ideas.

Together, Marcelo, Cédric, Fabrice and Olivier will direct the creative team made up of over 150 people, including seven creative directors.

About the team

Cédric Gueret, 37 years old, is digital to the core. For the last four years, he has been the creative director at Ogilvy One, where he worked on both French and international accounts such as Nestlé, Mattel, American Express and Ford. As a creative director who is as digital as he is integrated, he is one of the most awarded French creatives. He is a multi-award winner at international festivals, notably thanks to his campaign wi-fi Scrabble, which received gold, silver and bronze Lions at the Cannes Festival, was recognized at the One Show with a gold and a silver, and at the London International Awards, with a silver and a bronze, and finally with a gold at the Eurobest Awards. He has also received numerous awards in French festivals including Grand Prix Stratégies, Club des DA, and more.

Marcelo Vergara, 45 years old, is Argentinian. He began his career at Agulla & Baccetti in Argentina, and then took over the direction of BBDO in Spain. He joined Publicis Worldwide 4 years ago, to manage the creative of all of the network’s agencies in Latin America. His numerous awards are proof of his creative strengths: over 20 Cannes Lions, 3 pencils from the One Show, 2 pencils at D&AD, 25 prizes at the New York Festival, and the list goes on.

Olivier Desmettre and Fabrice Delacourt, 48 and 46 years old respectively, have been working as a team at Publicis Conseil for the last four years for a range of clients including Orange, Seb group, Dacia, BNP Paribas, Renault- for whom they created the campaigns “Lapins Crétins et Espace i- Pad,” as well as, Nescafé and the campaign “Really Friends” which won the Grand Prix Stratégies for Brand Content in 2013. All throughout their career, they have brought home many awards from Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Epica, Club des DA, Cristal Festival, Andy’s, Clio Awards, Cresta, Webby Awards, Shars Awards, One Show, and more.
