SPIKES 2019: The “See It Be It” Program Goes to Asia for Spikes, Rallying Women in the Creative Community and Facing Diversity Challenges Together

Spikes Asia has announced the first ever ‘See It Be It’ in Asia, a Career Acceleration Programme designed for women in creative roles who face diversity challenges in the industry. The programme will provide executive training, mentoring and exclusive networking opportunities while nurturing a community of like-minded ambassadors who are encouraged and supported to bring the learning back and help others.

Spearheading the programme as the first Spikes Asia See It Be It Ambassador is Valerie Madon, Havas Group’s Singapore chairwoman and CCO of Havas Southeast Asia. Joining her as See It Be It Leads will be Lizi Hamer, Regional Creative Director of Octagon, and leader of SheSays Singapore, a community built to support more women into the creative and digital industries.

Spikes Asia’s See It Be It is looking for 10 women who are part of the branded communications industry advertising, marketing, film-making, innovation, editorial, design, PR or a related discipline, or those who have an interest in a career in these disciplines. Applicants must be comfortable speaking in English and based in Singapore, or able to travel to Singapore if they are chosen to participate.

The 10 female future leaders selected for the first SIBI will receive a VIP experience including a complimentary pass to the Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity in Singapore, a curated executive learning programme, a series of mentoring sessions with industry leaders, opportunities for profile building, and free accommodations.
