Singapore – Starcom Mediavest Group (SMG) has just launched CONTENT@SCALE in South East Asia, a suite of tools that enables marketers to automate and distribute content in real-time.

First launched in the North America in January 2014, CONTENT@SCALE consists of two different products powered by Flite, a programmatic platform based in California.

CONTENT@SCALE Owned promises a 4x increase in engagement vs. a standard rich media placement by utilizing dynamic ad units across paid display advertising to amplify a brand’s own content and assets, including content from brand websites, YouTube videos, Tweets and Facebook posts.

Meanwhile, CONTENT@SCALE™ Licensed allows brands to identify, source, publish and scale content from over 300,000 pieces of evergreen content already available with existing publishing partners, including AOL, Time Inc., and Forbes.

Curated by in-house specialists to ensure relevancy and engagement, this product claims to have helped increase relevance and shift perceptions upwards of 15%. Talks with local content companies and publishers to source more locally relevant content are said to be already in the works.

“The technology-fuelled solution addresses real challenges faced by marketers today in needing their communication to be agile, without the pains of overcoming technology and process hurdles,” said SMG SEA head of digital leadership Ian Loon.

“We are architecting experiences, marrying the art and data-driven science around our business for the work we do with brands.”

The launch follows its successful roll-out of LATAM, Canada, India and Australia and EMEA. CONTENT@SCALE is regarded as an evolution of SMG’s link.d3 real-time content engine.
