USA – Now would you look at that? After committing the most terrible mistake in Miss Universe pageant history, Steve Harvey is back with a vengeance and a load of cash.
He just earned himself a 30-second spot for T-Mobile at Super Bowl 50. In this ad created by Publicis Seattle, he playfully re-enacts his worst hosting booboo where he announced Miss Colombia as the winner of the Miss Universe crown instead of Miss Philippines.
But this time, he’s not the one who made a mistake, so he’s calling on Verizon to #BALLOGIZE for using T-Mobile’s LTE coverage statistics from last year in their ad.
T-Mobile also released a series of commentaries using memes and GIFs of Steve Harvey all throughout the game including an intentionally wrong announcement of the Super Bowl 50 champs!

Plus, according to Public North America, this is one of the ads that generated the most pre-game buzz this year. We’ll see in the coming days if this spot will also be generating sales for T-Mobile.
