Nissan and Amazon have unveiled their latest program together, working with TBWA\Chiat\Day LA. True to its ‘Innovation that Excites’ tagline, Nissan has placed a giant Amazon locker in the heart of San Francisco.
“From our cars to our brand experiences, Nissan innovation is about bringing excitement to your everyday. One way we do it is by creating communications that spill from the printed page, or viewers’ screens, into the real world. Like teaming with Amazon to showcase a car on its website and, of course, bringing the experience to them in a way that captures people’s interest and imagination,” Nissan said in a press release.
Last year, Nissan gave the Versa Note a big introduction by placing it on Amazon.com. A photo of Nissan delivering one Versa Note in giant Amazon box was posted to reddit, making people in 38 countries across five continents, wonder, “What’s in the box?”
This time, Nissan teamed with Amazon once again to create a giant Amazon locker, one large enough to hold a Nissan Rogue.
“When we put the all-new Nissan Rogue on Amazon.com, we knew that we had to not only innovate once again, but also get people wondering how we would capture their interest and imaginations this time,” they said.
People who pass by and Tweet, comment, or post photos about the locker using the hashtag #GiantLocker will earn a code to open one of the doors on the locker to win one of a variety of prizes. One lucky participant will get the code that opens the giant door to win a new Nissan Rogue.
Follow the giant locker on Facebook, and by searching the hashtag #GiantLocker on Twitter and Instagram.
