Filipinos Bryan Siy, Executive Creative Director of TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno and Crisela Cervantes, Head of Digital of Mindshare Indonesia have been announced as jury members of Citra Pariwara 2017, Indonesia’s oldest creative festival.
Siy is included in Panel 1 which will judge work submitted under the Print, TV, Radio, Out of Home, Direct, Promotion, Non Conventional, Integrated, and Print Craft categories. This panel is headed by CK Tan, Chief Creative Officer of Amber China.
Meanwhile, Cervantes sits on Panel 3: Media Category. Her panel is headed by Pradeep Harikrishna, Chief Executive Officer of IPG Mediabrands Indonesia.
The other two panels will judge the Digital category and the BG & Daun Muda and TV Station categories. Panel 2: Digital Category is headed by Kazuhiro Shimura, Creative Director of Dentsu Inc. Japan, while Panel 4: BG & Daun Muda, TV Station Category is led by Ratna ‘Sasa’ Puspita, Executive Creative Director of Bates CHI&Partners Indonesia.
“To be a jury is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. According to locals, every year, jury members are unique. We can only judge at Citra Pariwara, once in our lifetime,” Siy said of his appointment to the jury.
Citra Pariwara is now on its 30th year and is featuring the theme of “Creative Evolution”. With the rise of digital media, creativity is not limited to brands, agencies, production houses, and media outfits. This year, the festival celebrates “the world of creation. The world where creativity does not belong only to those who hold the access to communication channels or to the largest means of productions.”
The awards night will be held on December 8, 2017 at The Oval, Epiwalk Kuningan in Jakarta, Indonesia.
