GLOBAL – Ted Baker and POKE have launched a new social media campaign to engage with shoppers over the festive season.
In the campaign, Santa’s elves go missing following a night of festivities, with the only remaining evidence being an “Elfie” taken by Santa. Fans are asked to help find the missing elves by visiting @TedsElfie on Instagram and taking part in the ‘choose your own adventure’ style game.
Native features of Instagram, such as image tagging, allow those taking part to find their way through the bespoke illustrated Ted Baker winter wonderland.
With seven elves to be found during the three-week campaign, there are plenty of chances to win – whether that’s stumbling across a spot prize buried in the snow, or celebrating your discovery of an elf with a trip to see the northern lights.
Craig Smith, Brand Communication Director, Ted Baker, commented: “Digital is a key element of our Global Marketing Strategy at Ted Baker, which meant it was important to create a campaign that would have real standout. Using Instagram in this exciting and engaging way allows us to interact with both our existing and new audiences in Ted’s innovative manner.”
Tom Hostler, Partner at POKE, added: “We always love working with Ted Baker; the brand has a great story-telling personality that is unique, fun and full of witty humour. This year’s #TedsElfie Instagram adventure is the perfect reflection of the Ted Baker brand and an interactive way of engaging shoppers.”
