MANILA – The Huddle Room scored big to end 2018 in a high note. The Philippine fast growing indie agency won 4 metals (2 GOLDS and 2 SILVERS) in the recently concluded Campaign Asia Pacific Agency of the Year Awards in Singapore last December 2018. It had the most number of metals among the Philippine contingents.
The Huddle Room won GOLD for the agency category as South East Asia PR Agency of the Year and 2 SILVERS – Southeast Asia Experiential Marketing Agency and Philippines Independent Agency. It was the third time the agency got SILVER for Experiential Marketing agency in the region since 2016.
The Southeast Asia PR Agency GOLD Award was given to the agency in recognition of how they THRIVED to equip and differentiate itself as a Native PR agency. They believe that not all campaigns are meant to be disruptive, for some native integration works better.
Eugene M. Manalo, Managing Partner of the The Huddle Room, edged out shortlisted regional and multinational network agencies as he emerged WINNER (Gold) as Southeast Asia Engagement / Channel Planner of the year. Pivotal to his win is his personal transformation from media and research head to a self-taught “digitactician” that helped the agency (THR) a thriving independent and proudly local integrated solutions agency.
The Campaign Asia Pacific Agency of the Year awards highlighted strong leadership, creativity, and innovation, stellar new business performance, the development of talent, and contribution to the industry. Not only that, it also celebrates the people, the work, and the business achieving outstanding success in the world’s most exciting and fastest-growing media marketing and advertising markets. Many agencies were recognized in this night of success and celebration, and The Huddle Room was one of the Philippine agencies that made significant noise.
These awards are the latest additions for the agency’s international wins in 2018 as Global Native Agency of the year (SILVER) in the Global Native Awards by the Native Advertising Institute in Berlin. Along with this, they bagged a GOLD for Best Use of AFP Broadcast, SILVER for Best Use of Print and COMMENDATION for Best Use of Programmatic campaign.
