These Are The Days, written by a chef and restaurant owner, Lee Chin Sin, was chosen by MediaCorp as the anthem for Singapore’s fiftieth year of nationhood.
Sin won after after seven weeks of voting that began last January 8 which racked up more than 65,000 votes. The SG50: The Gift of Song songwriting competition awards the champion S$10,000 in prize money and is sponsored by OK energy drink.

MediaCorp will broadcast the song on television, outdoor media, over-the-top (OTT) TV service Toggle and radio in the lead-up to National Day 2015 in August.
The music video for These Are The Days will feature top local talents like Farisha Ishak, Julie Tan, Sufie Rashid, the Lorong Boys and the Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir.
