KUALA LUMPUR – Leading South-East Asian production company, Think Tank, have announced the appointment of Stephen Douglas in the role of GM, for both Think Tank offices in Singapore and KL in addition to TANKERS in KL.
Douglas joins the award-winning Think Tank team after a recent spell as GM at Oriental Post, Shanghai and Jakarta. Prior to this, he had successful stints establishing Fin Design+Effects in Shanghai and expanding Method Studios’ business across the wider Asian region.
His production experience includes GM and EP roles at New Zealand and Australian production companies, Film Construction and Prodigy.
“Bringing Stephen into the business increases our capability and allows us to spread our wings further in the South-East Asian market and beyond”, says Think Tank founder and director, Rajay Singh (Jay).
“Stephen comes with some impressive credentials and we are looking forward to putting his skills to good use in growing the business,” says Singh.
On Think Tank, Douglas said, “I’m thrilled to be joining Jay and the team. Think Tank is a strong company with an already impressive track record and a great roster, although I will add that we’ll be making some announcements for Asia soon that will enhance our position in that respect… so stay tuned.”
Douglas comes on board on September 19th and will spend the first three months based in KL, after which he will move across to the Singapore office.
