HONG KONG – Digital expert and former managing director of Havas Worldwide Hong Kong Mitchell Tan has left the agency to take on two new roles, Head of Tribal Worldwide Hong Kong and Head of Digital, DDB Group Hong Kong.
With over 20 years of experience in digital integration, particularly in portal, platform and UX expertise, Tan will be tasked to elevate the digital offerings of DDG Group Hong Kong.
“We are delighted to have Mitchell on board. He will be a great boost to advance digital integration across our range of work. He has the depth in portal and platform development, as well as to offer solid business solutions to our clients,” said Irene Tsui, General Manager, DDB Group Hong Kong.
Before working as MD for Havas, Tan was also previously the Digital Head of Bates and Managing Director for Greater China at Dormemus. Apart from his digital expertise, Tan is also well versed in strategic planning and business operations after working for major brands like ExonMobil, Shell, Pizza Hut, Philips, Heineken, HSBC, and HP.
“Mitchell has gone from web and apps to e-commerce, which will be an invaluable asset to DDB Group Hong Kong. Tan will be closely working with Integrated Creative Directors Wilson Ang and Timothy Li, their strengths and expertise dovetailing to lay out stronger offerings.
