US agencies top the LIA 2015 The NEW shortlist

LONDON AND NEW YORK – The London International Awards jury headed by Google Asia-Pacific Chief Creative Officer John Merrifield announced on Wednesday the shortlist for The NEW category.

The NEW category recognizes work that “delivers freshness that makes its impact ever more potent; work that attempts to be category defining in and of itself.”

The slots were equally distributed among agencies globally, with US shops including AKQA San Francisco, Hill Holiday, Leo Burnett Chicago, Ogilvy & Mather, Ogilvy New York and Razorfish New York taking six of the 24 entries while UK agencies including J. Walter Thompson London, McCann London, OgilvyOne London and Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide take four.

The winners of The NEW competition will be announced on November 10 at the LIA awards night.
