VivaKi appoints Andrew Carter as Asia Pacific Head of Training

SINGAPORE – Publicis Groupe’s centre of excellence for paid media and ad tech, VivaKi, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Andrew Carter as the new Asia Pacific Head of Trading.

He will develop and manage VivaKi’s trading approach–creating and implementing disciplines and systems required as a network to develop and monitor the strongest, most compelling  trading propositions for marketers in Asia Pacific. He will lead a regional trading group comprised of local market Buying Directors and Trading Directors, and will work in close collaboration with Publicis Groupe agencies to ensure VivaKi’s trading and value proposition is delivered.

“Andrew has a sterling track record in the trading world,” said Simon Pardon, CEO, VivaKi Exchange. “His extensive experience in trading, planning, buying and investment management and deep knowledge of the Asia Pacific market will be vital in growing VivaKi Exchange’s business in a very important geographical region for the company.”

Carter brings with him twenty years of industry experience across the UK and Asia Pacific regions. Prior to joining VivaKi, he was President of Trading at GroupM China where he managed a team of over 200 staff.  During his time with GroupM, Andrew contributed to the company’s new business drive and developed trading models which helped deliver sustainable client advantages. Before moving to China, Carter was a Trading Director for OMD.
