What to expect from day 2 of ADFEST 2015

PATTAYA — It’s day 2 of ADFEST 2015 and once again, the delegates are in for another round of exciting and insightful talks about storytelling, sound production, and more.

Producer, Actor and Creator Paul J. Alessi will be kicking off today’s talks with “Making it in Hollywood: The hard way as an independent producer, actor, creator and director”. This will be followed by “You’re the hero, not a target. The new era of storytelling.” by Hakuhodo Kettle Creative Director Kazuaki Hashida and TBWA\Hakuhodo Creative Director Takahiro Hosoda. Meanwhile, Moth Projects Executive Producer Jonathan Samway will talk about how brands can find new customers in this new world by telling stories that people choose to engage with in “Storytelling is the new black.”

Later in the afternoon, Hong Kong Design Institute lecturer Joan Chan will talk about the evolving methodology called Transmedia in “Buckle up! The tidal wave of trnsmedia is overwhelming the advertising industry.” Uncanny Valley Music Producer and Composer Justin Shave and Executive Producer and Music Supervisor Charlton Hill will wrap up today’s talks with “Music & Sound: The anatomy of an earworm.” They will be discussing the evolution of human response to audio and the psychology behind music use as a brand tool.

Dentsu Aegis Network, chaired by Regional Chief Creative Officer Ted Lim and Chairman and CEO Dick Van Motman, will also be presenting today’s Fresh Blood, the 28 young creatives from 13 cities who participated in the Young Lotus Creative Workshop that was held from March 16-18.

Lastly, we will be seeing some of the finalists go home with metals tonight as ADFEST 2015 announce the winners for Young Lotus Creative Workshop, Interactive Lotus, Mobile Lotus, Print Craft Lotus, Design Lotus, Direct Lotus, Press Lotus, Outdoor Lotus, New Director Lotus, and Film Craft Lotus.
