PATTAYA – Considered a highlight of ADFEST since being introduced in 2004, the two and a half day Young Lotus Creative Workshop aims to recognize and encourage the young stars in the region. Young Lotus also hopes to allow participants to further develop their skills and learn from the gurus of the industry, sharpen talents while competing under a relaxed atmosphere, and offer creative young bloods the opportunity to earn a winning place on the ADFEST stage.

The 2017 Young Lotus Workshop will be hosted by Cheil Worldwide, with Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Wain Choi (in photo) serving as Chairman.

With ADFEST celebrating its 20th anniversary, the focus of this year’s Young Lotus Workshop will be ADFEST itself. As Asia’s premier advertising gathering, it is only appropriate that the theme of the festival be “Create it with Swagger.”

Creating is always the biggest challenge because we need to have a certain swagger to work in this industry. We are the ones that can come up with great ideas that change how the world thinks. We should never forget how important and unique our creative minds are.”

“I encourage the teams of Young Lotus Workshop to ‘create with swagger.’ I also encourage everyone at ADFEST to join us in celebrating the future of our industry,” Choi concludes.
