Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo uses Pinch Pinup to spark curiosity and engagement

TOKYO, MAY 27, 2013 – Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo leverages technology and innovation to spark curiosity and interest, revolving around a simple and very human gesture: the pinch.

"Pinch Pinup" focuses on the power of the pinch to bridge the gap between technology and simple humanity. Beacon/Leo Burnett showcased their pinup girl, Airi Nagasaku, on movies and images in a wide variety of devices running the compatible app, but intentionally trimmed them such that only certain parts of each image or movie would be revealed on each device.

Users who place these various devices together and then “pinch” the onscreen content together are rewarded when the images and video displayed by these devices automatically forms a bigger canvas, displaying Nagasaku’s full image.
