SINGAPORE — Kickstarting a new era, Filipino-American quadruple-threat, singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor, MK xyz returns with a brand new single and music video entitled “No Boys Allowed” via Epic Records and RZ3 Recordings.

Produced by the Grammy Award-winning powerhouse producers Theron Thomas, Sam Sumser, and Sean Small, “No Boys Allowed” layers airy guitar above hypnotic drums. MK xyz oozes nothing but attitude on the verses and chant-able chorus, alternating rapid flows with magnetic melodies, showcasing their signature style.

Directed by Madeline Kate Kann, the accompanying visual shocks the song to life on-screen. MK and their party take over a power plant with slick choreography and enthralling shots of the rising star.

With its empowering message, the track serves as the perfect soundtrack to Pride Month. A member of the LGBTQIA+ community, MY xyz unwaveringly emphasizes inclusivity in their messaging as an artist. They were included in USA-based LGBTQ+ GLAAD’s “ICONS” interview series alongside Isaac Dunbar and INIKO. During the chat, they opened up about their story and spoke about what the community means to them. Additionally, Amazon Music just spotlighted MK on its Times Square NYC billboard in support of the “Asian American Girls Club Playlist” during AAPI Heritage Month in May. “No Boys Allowed” and MK xyz will appear in an upcoming VICE News documentary, VICE Special Report: Out Loud: a documentary about groundbreaking queer artists set to premiere on VICE’s TV channel and YouTube on June.

“No Boys Allowed” comes on the heels of MK’s previous single “Baddie,” which was picked up by multiple radio and media outlets across Southeast Asia. The track received acclaim from Soul Bounce, while RAP-UP praised, “MK xyz is quickly making a name for herself.” MK originally burst onto the scene with breakout singles including “Pass It” ft G-Eazy and “One Time” which have garnered over 10 million streams combined.

MK captivated audiences everywhere as fan-favorite Tess on the massive NETFLIX teen vampire series, First Kill, which launched into the Top 10 shows on the platform. Stay tuned for more from MK xyz coming soon.
