CALIFORNIA, USA – Singer, songwriter kenzie today debuted her highly anticipated new single “DONUTS (feat. Yung Bae)” – an upbeat pop track that further solidifies kenzie as an artist on the rise.
The single (produced, recorded, and mixed by Frequency) is available now via all digital retailers and streaming services. The music video, shot on film in Los Angeles, packs a nostalgic punch with roller skaters, drive-ins, and a coming of age romance.
“DONUTS (feat. Yung Bae)” is kenzie’s fourth release with Arista Records since signing with the label in July 2019. The track follows the releases of her singles “HOT,” “MOTIVES,” and “EXHALE (feat. Sia).”
In November 2018, kenzie released her album Phases, which featured the singles “NOTHING ON US” and “WONDERFUL,” written by Sia and Jesse Shatkin. Prior to Phases, kenzie released the single “MONSTERS (aka HATERS)” and followed this success with her singles “TEAMWORK,” “BREATHE” and “WHAT IF” (with Johnny Orlando).
