Tony Poon rejoins McCann as Asia Pacific Regional director in performance

SINGAPORE, JUNE 6, 2012: McCann Worldgroup has appointed Tony Poon, formerly head of the Asia Pacific analytical services of MRM Worldwide, to the newly created position of Asia Pacific regional director in performance, effective immediately.

Based out of McCann Worldgroup’s Regional Headquarters in Singapore, Poon has been assigned to lead the team in leveraging the power of data to advise clients on developing an analytical and data-driven approach across all facets of their business, including marketing and communications.

Prior to joining McCann Worldgroup, Poon was the global head of CRM analytics at A.S. Watson Group, a global retailer, where he outlined and drove large scale, top-line growth CRM programs. He also developed his expertise in brand sciences at the The Walt Disney Company’s corporate brand management team, earned his digital stripes at Cathay Pacific Airways, and gained experience in financial analysis at Morgan Stanley.

Poon has worked with clients from a wide spectrum of industries, from technology to consumer goods, including Dell, Microsoft, Intel, Avaya, Nestle, Estee Lauder Group, adidas Group, AT&T Wireless, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, and Johnson & Johnson.
