SINGAPORE — Boutique film production house electriclime has signed director Nick Sullivan to its roster.
Nick is an Australian filmmaker and editor who began his career producing music television for Channel [V] and then later MTV. With a strong emphasis on bold concepts and creativity, collaboration is at the heart of every project he works on.
Nick moves seamlessly between branded content, television, and music videos and loves using simple visual tricks to develop his stories.
Electriclime will represent Nick on a freelance basis in Australia and exclusively in MENA and Asia, and he is delighted to be expanding his expertise with the production company: “I can’t wait to collaborate with electriclime; from the quality of their work to our conversations, it’s exciting to be working with a group of like-minded creatives,” Nick commented.
“I look forward to creating memorable spots across new regions and building relationships with brands and agencies. So much of my inspiration comes from the town I grew up in, Newcastle. The people, the scenery, the relationships, and the working-class culture there,” he added.
The Australian filmmaker furthered, “I think there’ll be opportunities to get wildly creative as new technologies emerge. As media is constantly being consumed in different ways, by staying versatile and aware of new trends, films will be able to reach a variety of targeted audiences. It’s important for me to search for authentic performances, dynamic storytelling and it being tied together with an aural edge.”
